Mos Def (who now goes by Yasiin Bey) has been working with the Brooklyn Philharmonic for a couple of years now. But tonight’s free performance in Bedford-Stuyvesant’s Restoration Park — his home neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY — will feature a bigger orchestra than ever, plus one very unusual collaboration that has to be seen to be believed.
Mos will be performing an orchestral version of… Waka Flocka Flame’s “Hard In Da Paint.” And it’s actually kinda fly.
